St
Andrews CE Primary School is located on Main Street in Clifton
Campville, which is north east of Tamworth. The Head Teacher's name
is Julie Bullous. The school takes all pupils between the ages of 4
and 11 years. Currently we have 56 pupils on roll, based mainly in
three classes, the average size of which is 20 children.
The
school is very popular locally with parents commenting on the
‘friendly, family atmosphere’ and the ‘approachability of all
the staff’ (comments taken from recent parent surveys).
The
school opens at 8.45am each day, with classes commencing at 8.55am.
Each
classroom is fitted with an interactive white board and the children
have regular access to laptops and stand alone computers.
Our wireless free networking allows our children easy access
to educational websites in order to enhance their learning.
Our
grounds are extensive and include a trim trail, football pitch and
benches for a quieter area, all complimenting the two playgrounds
that we also have.
Outside
of lesson time we also provide a range of extra curricular
activities (football, netball, athletics, chess, sudoku, recorders,
are just a few examples) available to all children. Children are also
provided with the opportunity to learn French, as well as brass,
string and woodwind instruments during the school day.
